Meet Marlo!
This precious pup dumped at an overcrowded kill shelter in TN, through no fault of his own.
Our rescue stepped in to save him and got him in to a foster home and he is so ready to find his forever family!
Marlo is approx 2 yrs old and weighing in at a 59 lbs. He is a white GSD mix. His DNA mix is working breeds, he will need plenty of mental and physical activity. Experience with GSDs, huskies, akitas, working breeds, is essential to help this boy thrive.
Marlo loves car rides, giving you affection and kisses. In the home he is fairly quiet and calm. After playing, he will lay down for nap time.
Marlo will do best in a home with either one owner or quiet couple with calm lifestyle. He can get stressed when meeting new people all the time, so calm home without kids!
Again, Marlo needs to be in a home with NO SMALL CHILDREN and NO DOGS.
He will also need a strong confident pack leader to help train him with positive reinforcement and work on his leash skills. In typical GSD style, he bonds to his 'person', is very affectionate and protective.
Marlo is able to jump so if you have a fence it needs to be over 6 foot.
