Meet Marlin!
Marlin and his 3 siblings were left in a box on the side of a busy road with only a bowl and each other. Animal Control was made aware of them and went out to pick them up, but ended up having to trap them two days later. They spent 3 weeks in a noisy, busy shelter before B&B pulled them and got them in a foster home.
The Fishies were extra thin, stinky and scaly with dry skin (most accurate litter name ever) and were very nervous about their new beginnings. Their first night in a home they got a nice warm bath, a good meal and they slept so hard on their soft beds and new blankets.
These babies have been through it. We don’t know their history before they were found in a box. They were underweight and were missing fur, but somehow that has not stopped them from trusting us. They are quickly (and enthusiastically) learning the good life.
Marlin is doing great in his foster home and learning the ropes from her foster siblings. He is doing amazing potty training and loves to eat. He’s good with the dog savvy cats in his foster home. He is working on his puppy manners with smaller dogs, but has been great with the large dogs in the home. He is around 4-6 months old and we think he is a lab/border collie/shepherd mix. He's happy, healthy (his fur is growing back nicely!), and vaccinated as well!
His adoption fee is $325, and this includes his upcoming neuter/microchip at the SPCA. To apply to adopt, complete the online adoption application at beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt
