Hi! I'm Marlee! I'm from Arkansas. From her foster: Looking for a dog that will be as obsessed with you as you are with her? Marlee loves her people with all her might and would prefer to stay by your side as much as possible. She does the cutest begging stand with her front legs in the air when she wants your attention or wants the food you have. Marlee is one of the sweetest dogs and enjoys cuddling, getting endless belly rubs, napping on the couch, or enjoying a nice stroll and lounging on a patio. She is a great mix of chill napping most of the day with short bursts of energy when food or a walk are involved. Marlee is vision impaired and will be having both eyes removed in August, please see her medical bio for more details. She takes some time to learn the layout and navigation of a new space, but once she does she can figure out the basics of getting from one room to the next or finding her food and water bowls. She also does a great job navigating by sound and smell. A home with no steps to go outside or someone willing to carry her in and out will work best for this girl. She LOVES going on walks and checking out all the smells. She initially is very excited and pulls on the leash following her nose, but settles after a couple of blocks. She is crated when we are not home and likes to protest loudly about it at times, so no shared walls for this lady. Marlee has been great with all people, including children of all ages. She is good with dogs and cats that are respectful of her small size and vision impairment. Marlee is ready and waiting to give you all her love and companionship!
