MARLEE-ADOPTED

Marlee has a big smile on her face because she is lucky to be alive. This beautiful 45 lb. purebred yellow lab was surrendered to a kill shelter in Arkansas. We pulled Marlee out of the shelter at the request of a specific adopter with the understanding that they would either adopt her or foster her until she could be adopted. They changed their mind when she tested positive for heartworms and left us to either return poor Marlee to the shelter which would have euthanized her or scramble to find another foster home while she underwent treatment. As you can see, we just couldn't return this sweet girl. Marlee has completed her treatment and now needs a home that will love and appreciate her forever. She is 1 1/2 to 2 years old and is now crate trained. She has never had an accident in her crate and is very willing to learn new things. She likes to play fetch and has been very good with the other dogs in her foster home. This girl will make a wonderful family addition as long as she gets the exercise that she requires. Marlee is spayed, microchipped, shots are up to date, treated for heartworm and is now on Heartgard to prevent this from happening again. Her adoption fee is $425 which doesn't come close to paying her vet expenses or her transport fee that brought her to CT. You can truly say that you rescued Marlee by giving her the home she deserves. Please request a pre-adoption questionnaire if you feel that Marlee would make a wonderful addition to your home.
