My Story

AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT! IN VERMONT Meet Marla! https://youtu.be/Zkl7Pq6XLgU Marla is 4 years old, female (approx. DOB 12-5-19), 49 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Marla has been a mama; we LOVE our mama dogs! She's been described as a "perky extravert"! Marla is very sad sitting in boarding waiting for her human/s to find her. She is so very sweet; loves to give hugs, loves ice cream, loves to roll in the grass, loves car rides, has been good at the vet, and loves walks! Miss Marla is missing her front teeth so we think she had a very ruff life before arriving at the shelter where we saved her when she was out of time! She has medium energy, is a quieter girl, and would do best as an only pup or with another dog that is her size or bigger, with proper introductions, and no cats (likes to chase). Miss Marla is crate trained, potty trained, knows Sit/Kennel/No, and will ring a bell letting you know she needs to go out! Stay turned for more information as Miss Marla is a new rescue! Marla is 4 years old, female (approx. DOB 12-5-19), 49 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Marla please fill out an Application at www.Passion-4-Paws.org (please make sure you have the Vermont site not CT) - thanks! Please note Fosters have 1st option of Adoption. Check out her Facebook page (and "Like" us while you're there)! Disclosure: Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog's DNA determines appearance! Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed. Labels such as "dog friendly" and "child friendly" should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.
