Marky, also known as Potato, is a handsome, loyal, and quiet male dog. He is a well-bred Shiba Inu with a sweet personality and a graceful, dignified, and athletic build. Despite his loyalty, he is not good with other dogs. He is a delightful 5 year-old who is crate-trained, house-trained, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccines. He is also neutered. Marky is a sweet dog who adores children and people, making him an amazing companion. He can be a bit wary of other dogs, which is why he would do best in a home without any other pets. His adopter must be familiar with the Shiba Inu breed and must be willing to love him as part of their family, as he will not do well outside or on a chain. If you are interested in welcoming Marky into your heart and home, please contact saving Shibas Inc at the provided email address, or visit the provided URL to fill out an adoption application. Marky's adoption fee is $400, and all money goes to a wonderful cause.
The Shiba-Inu is a primitive breed, and a living national monument in their native Japan. They are not very affectionate dogs, but are extremely loyal to their family/owner. Similar to the Japanese Akita because of their appearance and fierce loyalty, Shiba-Inus are a great breed to adopt because they are small-sized dogs that are smart and loyal.
They are also known to be escape artists and door-bolters. Adopters who have previously owned or are accustomed to this breed will be considered.
