Marie

In February, we took in a mother dog and her 7 one week old puppies. We knew that she was a chihuahua mix. She was a slender 16 pounds and we had no idea of what her breed mix was or the breed of the father. As the weeks passed, we realized that 3 of the puppies looked like blue heelers, one looked like a red heeler, two looked like Jack Russell terriers and one was black and tan, like the mother. Surprise, surprise. The puppies were born on February 17th. They have been well cared for by their mother. They are all cute, healthy, playful and happy. Our vet estimates their adult weights between 20 and 30 pounds. They are ready to go to their new homes. Marie has always been a brave girl. She takes on whatever interests her without fear. As of June 1st, Marie weighs nearly 10 pounds so we expect that her adult weight will be in the low 20s. She is loving and fun. Marie is one of the two puppies who looks like a Jack Russell Terrier. The adoption fee for Marie is $250. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have. With your dog, you will receive a health booklet detailing everything that we have done to be sure that they are in the best of health and all spiffed up to be your treasured pet.
