Maria

Maria is a name that implies elegance, sweetness, and LOVE. Our Maria is all of that and then some. Maria is one of those dogs that displays grace (and darling tail wags!) when faced with sad times. And goodness, this gal has known sad days. Maria arrived as a stray who was so emaciated that she could not stand. She was totally broken down, yet she wagged her tail with what little energy she had. She was determined to get better and that she has done! Maria is now so very happy and ready to have the glorious life she deserves. Being a senior, she's very chill in many ways but she really likes to go out for little walks. And does she love to be petted. Her gratitude shows daily, and we are delighted to love on her. Maria does need to be on prescription dog food, but she is an eager eater and has no trouble with her meals. Maria's foster parent says this about her: Through all my life, I had dogs, but I can confidently say that Maria is the sweetest, most cuddly and affectionate dog I have ever met. Despite her life story, she is so polite, sweet, loves meeting new people and many, many pets! She does very well when she has to be alone at my apartment, and we are working on pad training. She knows house commands and keeps it to herself. I love fostering her and I hope you love having her in your home!
