After just a couple of hours of decompressing, Marge began to interact and play, showing off her fun-loving personality. She absolutely LOVES to play, especially with squeaky toys, with mini Lambchop being her favorite. Marge enjoys chewing on her big Benebone and can play with others or independently. She gets along well with dogs, and is working on basic commands. In just a few attempts, she mastered the “come” command, thanks to her strong food motivation, making training a breeze. Marge has shown no guarding tendencies and kennels well, settling in perfectly beside the bed and sleeping through the night without issues. Marge is not leash trained but is making huge strides, especially with the use of a harness. Her playful nature includes a love for tug-o-war and chasing her squeaky Lambchop. Although she is very mouthy when she plays, her foster parents are working on curbing this behavior. Overall, Marge is a delightful, high-energy dog who would likely thrive in a home with kids and lots of playtime.
