Maple-foster or adopt

Thank you for your interest in Maple. We are seeking a home, or a foster to adopt her or foster her until she is adopted. She needs more attention than she is getting in a crowded foster home and too few people are volunteering. Everything she will need is provided to foster her. Maple is a wonderful loving dog. She was found stray, standing in the middle of a country highway as cars drove around her. She had bad skin from fleas, however, her skin has healed and she will never go through that again. Maple is 1-2 years old and weighs 38 pounds. She won't grow larger. She stands about to your knees. We do not know her breeds, she probably has several in her DNA. She is spayed, Heartworm negative, with required vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and receiving flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Maple knew some commands when rescued. She sits and lays down and crates when asked. She's playful and will choose toys from her basket or throw her own ball! She has a bunny hop! She will make you laugh! Maple doesn't bother anything inside the home that is not hers. She is the kind of dog to bond with her person. She is great with housetraining. She goes outside and it's not long that she is ready to come back inside. She is a true house dog. She would not want to be left outside all day. Maple is learning the leash and is great in the car. This would be a nice dog for someone wanting a companion dog to spend time with, a go everywhere dog. An easy dog for a retiree. We don't know if Maple was ever exposed to young children. Her fosters are seniors with not much traffic at home. She has been good with strangers. She has not reacted to cats she's seen. She lives with multiple dogs, but we prefer she be the only dog at home and get the attention she deserves. She is a dominant personality in a pack of dogs so we never want her to be misunderstood.
