My Story

Meet Rosa is the gentle matriarch of the chicken-themed litter. All 8 of her babies are loving life in their Forever homes, and now it's Rosa's turn to find her forever family. Rosa's story began with a dedicated southern rescue, who had been caring for her and her precious puppies. Concerned about the approaching cold weather, they sprang into action to ensure their safety. On a chilly night, Rosa was compassionately trapped and brought to safety. With a warm foster home waiting, Rosa and her eight puppies went from shivering to snug in no time. In her foster home, Rosa has blossomed. Here's what her foster has to say about her: Very easy-going, leash trained, crate and house trained. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys spending time outdoors, especially lounging in the grass. She's a true sweetheart. Rosa came to us heartworm positive but has since completed her treatment! She is now ready to find her forever. We do think she would do best in an adult only home or one with older kids. Rosa was a terrific mom to her own puppies, but we think she's happy to be done with the "little ones" phase of her life. She has a lot of energy, but she doesn't seem to care for roughhousing or rough play. Rosa is ready to bring her love and sweetness to a forever home. Could yours be the one she's been waiting for? Don't miss out on the chance to make Rosa a cherished member of your family.
