My Story

Like the movie ‘The Emperor’s New School”, Malina was portrayed as a cheerleader who is also the class president which translates into smart as well as pretty. Just by looking at her you can tell that she is perfectly named. Malina was born in May 2010 and is a female Havanese. Before HALO rescued her from a dog auction, she spent her life locked in a wire crate where her future would be breeding and breeding and breeding puppies until she died or was too old for anything else. This little girl is very sweet and would do well with older children and other pets. HALO’s adoption fee is $450 which includes the following: a well-puppy visit, all necessary age-appropriate vaccinations, bordatella shot and brucellosis test; spay. There will be a $150 spay deposit which is refunded when proof of this procedure is completed within a designated time. Malina is fostered in Raleigh which is where her adoption will occur but she can live outside of North Carolina. This wonderful little Havanese deserves a very special family because she is definitely a special little girl.
