Malachite is a neglected little pibble who came to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. He came in with sores from fleas (he's been treated and will need to stay on flea meds but he should be good as new in no time!). His family said he's great with kids but hasn't really been around dogs (he did live with a cat which he chased). He did try really hard to play with the other dog in play group but will need a tolerant friend to help him figure things out. He's about 45 pounds but is short and stocky (sort of apartment sized!). All our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots before adoption!
