Makenzie

This little girl is 20lbs and all muscle. She is a little spit fire that has so much joy and love to give. She is an independent lady that does need clear and consistent boundaries. She gets a long well with other dogs but doesn't like to be rushed by them. In the beginning of fostering Kenzie she was very nervous of new people but has blossomed and enjoys making new friends. She is a bit nervous of bikes on the roads and trails but with consistent and positive exposure with the goal of being neutral she has been getting better and better. She has a high prey and will chase cats. Because of this she would do better in a home without young children or small animals. She is VERY active and loves to go on all the adventures. She LOVES water and needs to be on a long leash or else she would stay in the water forever. She is crate trained, loves to play tug and walks well on a leash. She gobbles her food up and needs a slow feeder or food enrichment toy for her meals. She's tiny but mighty and would be the perfect companion for an adventure couple. Please send in home and yard photos for approval. *please note: We like to do 2 week Foster to Adopts on adult dogs,so the dogs don't have to move around as much and they can bond and make sure they fit into your home before completion of adoption.* Dogs adoption fee's will include vet visit/exam, spay/neuter, microchip, blood work up/dental if vet says it is needed, dewormed, up to date on shots (DHPP and Rabies, Bordetella can be done if requested we don't do it normally as we don't have the dogs in boarding, dog parks or high risk locations), Current on 1 dose of flea treatment in case they brought any with them from CA. If anything isn't mentioned please ask. Adoption fees vary $300-$500 depending on the dog and medical care needed/required. Adoption fee for each dog will be noted in write up.
