Hi there! My name is Major and I am an adorable little boy at just five months old. Some people say that my photographs make me look older than I am and bigger than I am but really I’m only 23 pounds! And I’m already almost half a year old so I’m probably halfway done growing! I think I’m going to be around 35 or 40 pounds at the most when I’m fully grown. But I’m in no rush to get there! I like being a baby puppy. One of the volunteers here loves to hold me and cuddle me and cradle me and I just melt in her arms when she does it. I’ve just begun my leash training, and I know that seems a little late in life. But that’s OK because I like engaging in my puppy dog lessons. I love people, and I love learning! And people are the ones who teach me so I’m having a great time at Desert Haven! I’m also learning from my puppy friend. I have a baby roommate who is only two months old! Can you believe it? He’s even younger than me! My roommate Mac is teaching me that I don’t always have to hog all the food, and that it’s nice and good to share. One thing I’m really good at is wrestling and playing and chasing and romping. I love my play sessions with friends and then when people are around, I always want to snuggle right into their lap and fall asleep. Ahhhhh laps. They sure make the day brighter! Do you have one?
