My Story

Magnum is approx. 4 1/2 years old in these pictures taken March 5, 2008. He and his pal, Rosco (who was adopted a while back), were rescued from his owner because she is now on drugs and does not take care of them. She used to take very good care of them we were told and always made sure they had there shots and everything else they needed.

The shelter volunteers have found Magnum to be a very rollie pollie happy and lovable boy. He is very well behaved. Gets along well with all of the dogs he has come in contact with. We have noticed that he does not like other dogs around when he is eating, however. He loves to ride in the car and will even jump in for you but needs a little help right now because he is a little chubby. Magnum walks well on a leash too. There isn't anyway to stay sad when Magnum is around because his smile is contagious. He so loves people and is a real luv bug. Magnum is one of the first dogs to come greet you when you come into the kennel yard with his tail wagging and a big smile on his face.

Here is what the person who rescued him knows about him (She knew his owner). Magnum loves older children and taking walks. He enjoys playing ball, with toys, and in the water. Magnum does dig a bit but it is because he wasn't getting enough exercise. He does not like cats but does get along well with other dogs.

All of the volunteers have fallen in love with Magnum. He is just so very sweet and smart. Such a great dog!
