Meet Magic Mike, a 8 month old Plott Hound/Mountain Curr mix who is a sweet, and somewhat shy dog with a mellow demeanor. He's got a playful spirit that shines through by day, and at night, he loves to dance to his own rhythm. Magic Mike is a bit reserved at first, requiring patience and understanding to truly open up. But once he does, you'll be rewarded with a loyal companion who's always ready to share his love. Despite his initial shyness, Magic Mike has a heart full of affection waiting for the right person. He came into the shelter as a stray and has spent half of his young life there so no wonder he is unsure of the world around him. Imagine being a young puppy in a loud scary shelter with no one to play with. He was recently pulled on the brink of euthanasia and is now UTD on all his vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and HW neg. He’s the perfect medium size for most homes weighing just 31 lbs. Adopting Magic Mike means providing him a loving home where he can continue to grow and flourish. In return, he will offer unwavering companionship and fill your days with joy and laughter. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, question, or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
