Introducing Miss Maggie Mae! This sweet girl is a one-year-old Labrador Retriever mix currently weighing 33 pounds. She has a beautiful tan coat with white markings. Maggie Mae was rescued from a kill shelter in North Augusta, SC, and was placed on the euthanasia list simply because she was scared. Thankfully, Home for Good stepped in and rescued her from a horrible fate. Due to her past and where she came from, Maggie Mae can be shy with new people and needs someone who will be patient with her. Having another dog around makes Maggie Mae instantly a little bit more comfortable and confident. Because of this, she must go home with at least one confident canine to continue boosting her confidence. Leash walks are Maggies happy place! On walks she transforms into a happy explorer. Therefore Maggie will blossom in a loving home where lots of daily strolls are the norm. Maggie Mae loves the company of her canine friends and will play occasionally. She is doing well with her leash, crate, and house training and especially loves the treats that come with it.
