***NEEDS FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Nampa, ID MARGAUX nka MAGGIE is a 9-month-old, 45 lb beautiful black shepherd mix gal who found herself in an over-crowded, rural shelter before rescue by Friends Furever Animal Rescue. True to her breed, she is smart and very loyal, but shows no signs of an unsocialized puppy (e.g., chewing, active). It is obvious that she lived in a home as a puppy. In the shelter, MAGGIE was shy, quiet (no barking) and maintained a calm disposition. She would just sit or lay down by her person. In her foster home, MAGGIE is living with other respectful dogs and a cat. She is a bit timid at first, but quickly warms up to people. She will want to be right by your side. She is very mellow and loves to snuggle. Those ears will steal your heart! MAGGIE is housebroken and asks to go out to potty. She sleeps through the night. MAGGIE rides well in the car, is leash-trained, knows sit and come, and is quickly picking up new commands She is food and treat-motivated to continue her training.
