Maggie~Adopted

Maggie is an 8 year old female Rat Terrier who weighs about 16 lbs. She is a wonderful loving little girl. She is need of a loving forever home that has plenty of time to give her attention. She loves attention and wants to be with you all the time. She loves to sleep in the bed with you under the covers and sit in your lap on the couch. She loves to go for car rides and will run to the door as soon as you get your keys. She smiles at you ....lots of people think she is growling at them, but it is a smile. Sometimes, she does lick a lot. Maggie is house trained to a pet door and will need work in a home without one. She is good with children that know how to behave around animals. She may be a little too much for a home with a baby, as she does get in the baby's face a lot in her foster home. Maggie gets along with other dogs and cats, but may be best as an only dog due to her love of attention. Maggie is spayed, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. She will be micro chipped when adopted. A secure fenced yard is required, and no exceptions will be made. Maggie is an independent rescue who is located in Hot Springs, and as a result will not be shown at adoption showings. An adoption fee of $125 applies to Maggie’s adoption.
