Meet the "Stadium Puppies", born approx. June 1st, 2024 to a feral / stray mama (see last pic). You can read about me first, then hear about our whole litter at the bottom of the post. :)
MADISON (as in "Madison Square Garden")
Hi everyone! I'm Madison, Maddie for short, and I'm the only puppy in the litter that clearly has a different daddy... a sneaky chihuaha is the suspect! I'm the tiniest of the puppies, at approx. 5 lbs as of mid- July, and almost look like a kitten compared to my siblings. I am super petite with a beautiful black coat and very subtle brindle markings on my feet. I am very quiet and cuddly, so when my bigger brothers and sister want to play, I'm "in" for awhile and then seek sancturay with my care team because I don't think my siblings care that I'm 1/2 thier size! I have recently been separated and placed in foster with the injured, shy brother Angel to help build his confidence and have an approriately-sized playmate when he's ready to romp. Like my siblings, I'm doing really well with potty training. I would love to be a lap dog, that is cuddled all day, every day! :)
Apply for me today! I'd love to have a family of my own.
THE WHOLE LITTER STORY
We were rescued from a sports stadium, where mama had taken us to be safe while she had birth and nursed us for approx. 6 -8 weeks. Our rescue team at PRDF has had us all since (and mama will be trapped and spayed), and are socializing us and taking care of our minor skin issues suffered while in the wild. We are a GREAT litter of puppies (there are 7 of us - 5 boys and 2 girls!) - we play, romp, cuddle like champs, and push our way in for our turn at cuddles with the volunteer team - and we cannot wait to meet our adoptive families.
Due to timing of our vet visits for our puppy shots and preventative medication (NexGard and HeartGard), we won't be available to travel to our adoptive homes until after Aug. 5th. At that time, we are safe to travel and explore the world! We will be an estimated 9 weeks old on that date (according the vet's best guess). Our homes will be chosen before we leave the island, so apply today - your adoption fee covers our flight to an airport as close as we can get to your location , through our volunteer flyer network. Thanks for reading our story. :)
