House Trained & Well-Mannered: Madeleine is 100% house trained with zero accidents. She doesn't chew or engage in destructive behavior, making her an ideal houseguest. She's comfortable in her crate for a few hours, though she does a little initial cry before settling down. Quiet & Non-Destructive: Madeleine is not a barker and is remarkably quiet-her foster's downstairs neighbor hasn't heard a peep from her! She's learned to wait for permission to get on furniture and doesn't jump up on people. Affectionate & Happy: This sweet girl wags her tail enthusiastically when she hears her foster wake up. She's incredibly cuddly and loves to be close to her humans. Smart & Quick Learner: Madeleine has shown remarkable progress in her training. She picks up new commands quickly, like "wait," and is learning to manage her leash walking with just a bit of pulling. Her foster has noticed significant improvement in her behavior and understanding of house rules. Good with Other Dogs & People: Madeleine shows no reactivity to other dogs, men, or strangers. Her calm demeanor makes her a great companion for a variety of social settings. At the shelter, Madeleine went to doggie playgroup regularly. She is ideal in a multi-dog home or as a solo dog with other doggie friends. Madeleine's combination of intelligence, affection, and good manners makes her a wonderful addition to any home.
