Machka

Gorgeous Machka has flown all the way from Turkey to find her furever home. She is an incredibly special girl who was so lucky to leave Turkey before horrible new legislation that requires the killing of all stray dogs. Machka was saved in February 2023, after a major earthquake in Turkey left her trapped in the rubble of a building. She was pulled out by locals who dug for hours to set her free. Her back leg was badly damaged from this experience, and had to be amputated, but that didn’t change her gentle and loving nature. Being a tripawd makes her even more unique and she gets around just fine, including jumping onto the couch if you let her! Prior to the earthquake, Machka was a loved neighborhood dog and it's so easy to see why. She is extremely affectionate and has the sweetest soul. She cuddles with her foster mom and loves to be petted and brushed. This girl is easy going and will be great in a home with dogs or without dogs, it doesn't matter to her. She is great with everyone. She is definitely a show stopper with her brindle fur and unique appearance. Machka is 3 years old, microchipped, spayed, and fully vaccinated.
