MacGregor is loving family could not longer keep him, so he has to move on. He is 18 months old, smart, playful, loving, gentle and loads of fun.....He is friendly with everyone, loves to play with other dogs, and shares food and toys nicely. This busy boy will get into stuff so needs to be crated when not supervised... He hardly barks at all, and enjoys spending time with dog savvy kids.
MacGregors's new family would have a fenced yard, be active and non-smoking, hopefully include another dog to hang out with and he would not left crated more than 4 hours at a time. He cannot be placed in a home with cats, or tiny dogs as he has a strong prey drive for smaller animals. He also needs some help with learning not to pull on the lead, so a Gentle Leader would be required. .
He crates well, and when relaxing will curl up on a chair, or lay on the floor not far from his person. Loves to cuddle, but also loves to run and play. Wheatens are generally non-shedding and non-allergenic, but MacGregor himself has seasonal allergies that need some attention.
