Mabel was kept in a pen her whole life having puppies. We were asked to take the puppies and the owner also let us take Mabel. Mabel had never been socialized. She took good care of her puppies but never interacted with the foster family. She would hide under the bed. Fast forward, Mabel got a new foster that worked with her and now she almost a normal dog.
She loves other dogs, loves lounging on the couch and getting petted. She still runs a little when you approach her from a standing position, but she is doing much better.
