Hi! They call me "Mable" . I am a sweet, loving, calm Beagle who wants nothing more than to climb in your lap and be snuggled. I think I would make a great lap dog because I'm only about 20lbs. I think I am between 3and 5 years old but I still have plenty of spunk! I need a good strong fence in case one of those pesky cats tries to make me chase them. Older children would be great to play with! I think I might be a little nervous around little kids, but I'm willing to try! I would love a doggy friend ,especially my friend Joy who I was found running in the road with, but I would be happy to be the only "pampered pup" also!! When the nice people found me I was so scared and itchy! I had fleas crawling all over me!! My neck was really sore too from some sort of chain I must have had on me. I feel much better now thanks to some nice humans at Dogs Day Out grooming! I don't know much about houses yet. The humans say I'm very quiet and calm. Won't you please let me into your heart? WE FINALIZE EVERY ADOPTION WITH A HOME VISIT THEREFORE POTENTIAL HOMES MUST BE WITHIN A HOURS DRIVE TIME OF CHARLOTTE NC. A FOSTER PET WILL NOT BE SHIPPED TO SOMEONE LIVING OUTSIDE THE ADOPTION AREA NOR WILL ANYONE BE ALLOWED TO COME PICK A PET UP FROM US. YOU MUST BE 21 TO ADOPT FROM OUR GROUP.
