Lyla

Lyla came to the Yreka City Shelter as a stray. We took her in for a 45 day board and train, vetting and spaying, but is turning into longer term. She loves to run along side our 4X4 around the property on our morning jogs, and has learned many commands, including OFF and SIT, CLIMB IT, WALK IT, TUNNEL, HOOP, JUMP, etc. She is non destructive in her kennel, and loves instead to chew raw knuckle bones and YAK bones. She loves to sleep under my chair in the play yard after she's had her work out. She loves to swim in the ponds, fetch sticks, and bring them back for more play. She has a 95+% recall!! Loves to travel in her crate in the car. Loves people. Learning dogs and cats. Super patient at the veterinarian. Comes with a free lesson, and lifelong online support. Also, a collar and leash. She is HW negative and on prevention. She was severely abused is my understanding, and will require someone who is patient with her. She readily bonds with a new person, especially if they are carrying cheese!! Child age 7 tested successfully while at the Yreka Shelter.
