Lyla

Lyla is a beautiful halrequin great Dane . She stands at about 28", which is small for a great Dane, and weighs about 110lbs. She was listed to be euthenized at a city shelter, which I could not bear to see since she happens to be a gentle old soul. She is thought to be about 7 years old, but she has the energy of a pup still! She loves to go on short neighborhood jogs, and is good at the dog park. She has experience in doggie day care, too. I rescued her at a time I was in a better living situation and working as an independent contractor so I had a lot more time and space for her. Both time and space have become limited now in the nine months i've had her and it's not fair to her to live this way. if I can find a family with a yard or someone who works from home I feel she would be a lot happier, which is ultimately what she needs- a happy retirement for her elderly years! :) she has scars on her body, including one from an embedded collar, and has had puppies, so she deserves a good home to live the rest of her days worry free and with people who love her and have plenty of time to stimulate her mind- she's very smart! She gets along with other dogs and tolerates cats but she would be best as an only dog at her new home. What can I say she wants all the love.
