SPONSORED ADOPTION FEE Luna - F - DOB - Fall 2022 - blue eyed husky. Surrendered for adoption along with Penny who is quite likely a half-sibling or perhaps Penny is even Luna's mother. They were from the same home and have been outside dogs with unknown house training (though it appears they are using the dog door to do bathroom business in their outer kennel). They were spayed at intake, vaccinated and just need their microchip before leaving to a new home. Good with kids. Both Penny and Luna want your attention and can be jumpy in order to receive it, so some obedience training should be given to curb them of this habit as they are both large dogs. Luna was on the timid side when she first arrived but quickly warmed up to volunteers so she may need a short adjustment time in a new home - particularly if she goes somewhere without Penny. Luna is good with kids and other dogs. Luna and Penny are fairly attached to each other so we'd love to find them a home together if possible. We had a sponsored adoption for Zoose and that family has decided to 'pay it forward' and sponsor the adoption of another dog! Penny’s fee is also sponsored SO that means we can offer this pair as a 'two-fer'. So instead of $600 you can adopt them together for $0 after an approved application! They are best suited to an outdoor lifestyle as this is what they are used to and have not been house trained, however in a foster situation Luna showed she maybe house trained.
