My Story

Luna is a 7.5 month old hound/pointer mix who was previously adopted in March but needs to find a new home. Luna is loved by her current adopter who wants her to have her best life. Unfortunately, she is fearful of men so we are looking for an all female, calm home for her. When Luna is around women she is an energetic, playful dog. She is wonderful with other dogs so a home with another dog or opportunities to be with other dogs would be ideal. Her current adopter will share the information he has from the MSPCA Angell Behaviorist they recently saw. Luna is house and crate trained and will walk on a leash. She can be fearful of loud, sudden noises and will need her new adopter to be patient and understanding of her fears as she gets comfortable in her new home. Luna was originally one of seven puppies born to a mom who was an owner surrender. Luna and her adopter hope to find the special and loving forever home she deserves! Please submit an electronic application to the following link: foreverhomerescue.org/about Adoption Fee: $500 Adoption Coordinator: Shelley Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
