These scruffy-looking nerf-herders are ready to get adopted! They are not looking for a galaxy far, far away--just a home. Luke and Leia originally came to us as small puppies back in 2018. Their owner fell on some hard times, so they are back here with us. They were able to tell us that they are housebroken, mainly indoor dogs that love to cuddle. They are great with kids, not very good with feline friends and have been good with other dogs.
Luke and Leia would love to find another home together but if not, they understand.
Luke A286978 is a 6-year-old, 92 pound Boxer mix. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. He currently has no adoption fee.
Leia A286977 is a 6-year-old, 87 Boxer mix. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. She currently has no adoption fee.
Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 12-5pm. These two are currently located in kennel 109.
Leia and Luke were tiny pups back in August of 2018 when they were adopted together from the shelter. Now it's 2024 and their family can no longer care for them, so they are back with us, waiting for another family or families to adopt them. Leia and Luke are lovely 6 year old Boxer mixes. They are HOUSEBROKEN and sooooo friendly. Leia weighs 83 pounds and Luke weighs 92 pounds. Both are excellent on a leash.
