Luke-adopted

Luke is presently in the Cell Dog Program where he will be trained in obedience by a prisoner. He is very intelligent and has won the heart of the shelter coordinator. Luke has a winning personality and would make a great pet for some lucky family. Luke is a 9 month old, 50 lb., Boxer/Labrador Retriever mix who is looking for a new home. He is a very happy & lovable dog. Because he likes to jump when he plays or gets excited, I really don't think he should be around very small children. Luke loves to play with his football and his squeaky duck. He has had some basic training. Ideally, someone with a fenced yard and another dog for a companion would be good for him. He has a lot of energy and needs daily exercise. He loves to run and play and go for walks. He is potty trained and crate trained. He's been neutered. We've pretty much spoiled him rotten and are looking for someone to continue spoiling him. We just want to find him the best home where he would be taken well care of. We check references and always do a home visit. We now have a transport available that travels from TN, through VA, and on to the New England states that dogs can hitch a ride on for a reasonable fee. See
