Meet Luke, an adorable and special little dog with soft wire hair who's perfect for those with allergies. At around 7 years old, Luke is a middle-aged to senior dog with a sweet personality. Luke is a special dog with unique needs, as he is blind due to untreated glaucoma. Despite his past neglect and abandonment at a high-kill shelter, Luke is no longer in pain and is incredibly grateful to have been saved. He navigates his world bravely and quietly, using his excellent sense of smell and hearing to explore and find his way around. Luke is house-trained and will seek you out just to be near you when you enter the room. Curious, patient, and extraordinarily sweet, Luke loves being with people, whether it's on your lap or simply lying nearby. He thrives in a household where people are around frequently and gets along well with people of all ages, as well as other dogs and cats. Luke will bring an abundance of love to your life—he truly is a very special dog. Luke is ready to find his forever home and share his love with a family who will cherish him.
