Hey! My name is Luke and I am an approximately 65 lb pit bull x looking for a home! I love my crate and love to learn! I want to please and learn quickly. I seem to do well with other dogs, but can be pushy, so I should not go to a home with dogs that don’t like rough housing. Lots of the volunteers at the shelter I am currently at fell in love with me and really want to get me home. I am buddies with Kahlua (also posted for adoption) and we were both really sad when we first got to the kennel. Our carriers were put in a kennel together, mine at the front and hers at the back. I heard Kahlua whining and I pushed my crate all the way to the back of my kennel, crawled on top of her crate and spent awhile looking down into Kahlua’s kennel to comfort her. I was in a foster home with older children for awhile and have worked with a trainer, quickly mastering my commands. I was also starting on my Canine Good Citizenship Test!
