Lucy - Adopted!

Thanks to a very dedicated foster family Lucy has been adopted! They kept her for a year working with trainers, letting their cat in and out on rotation as Lucy was not a fan, and taking it one day at a time! They have done so much to adapt their lives to include her in their family. After all that Lucy found a permanent place in their home and in their family! She has been adopted by her amazing foster family!

Lucy is a gorgeous 7 year old red Shar pei who has spent almost a year in foster care becoming a happy member of a human family for the first time in her life!
Her first owner left her in the backyard for 7 years after buying her from a "Wrinkles" breeder.
Lucy loves life, has a great sense of humor and is warm and affectionate. She is perfect in the home, loves car rides and loves going everywhere with her human family. Lucy loves her walks and also requires a fences yard, as she is still learning to ignore other dogs on her walks. Lucy's wonderful foster home has had her in training and she knows basic commands, is housebroken and ready for her new home!
Lucy deserves a forever home after all she has been through. Her foster home would keep her except that Lucy has not overcome her dislike of cats.
