Lucy is a darling little lovebug! At seven months of age, she is full of herself and loves to play with other dogs. (She's fine with cats too.) But--after a hard day of running and playing--there is nothing Lucy likes better than to snuggle up under the covers of her foster mom's bed. Because she is a bundle of energy, we'd like to find an adopter for her who has another dog for her to play with as well as a safely fenced yard. Lucy doesn't want to be a latchkey dog, so an adopter who works part time, is retired, or works out of his/her home would be perfect for her. Because of her small size (about 15 lbs.) we prefer she not go to a family with small children because we worry that she might be inadvertently injured by them. Our dogs are fostered by volunteers in private homes, and are not available for viewing until an adoption application is filled out and references are checked.
