Lucky ~ Adopted!

Lucky's foster mom says: Lucky is one sweet little guy. He likes to give kisses and cuddle. Lucky loves to please his human companions.

Arrival story: Lucky was found wandering near some busy roads when a good Samaritan picked him up and gave him to us. He had been abused. He was malnourished and had a large cut on his head.

Approximate age: Lucky is approximately 1 and 1 half years old. His breed is in the Spitz family. Schipperke and Black Norwegian Elkhound mix. He weights in at 35 lbs. He is a happy and healthy little boy now.

Personality: Lucky is a playful, sweet, and overall well behaved boy. Lucky loves to please his human companions. He listens very well to commands. He is house trained and is left uncrated while his foster mom is at work all day. He likes to be with people and will follow you around the house. He likes playing with his foster siblings. He gets along well with his parrot friend Polly. He likes to go for car rides. He does very well in the car. He is small doggie only about 35 lbs the perfect little buddy for a loving family.

Lucky's forever home: It would have a fenced yard where he can romp and play. Maybe another doggie friend to play with.

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $175, or $200 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.

We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. With few exceptions, we show our adoptable animals on Saturdays from 12pm - 3pm at Petco in Novi (on Novi Rd south of 12 mile) or Petco in Farmington Hills (Orchard Lake south of 14 mile). Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
