My friends and foster family say that I have the perfect name for such a perfect boy. My story began a long time ago, when my previous owner passed away. Instead of finding a nice shelter for me, I was cast out onto the streets and forced to fend for myself for SEVEN YEARS. In August 2023, a few kind people at Great Plains SPCA recognized my potential and brought me to their shelter. Now I'm living it up in a foster home! Due to my past, I've learned to be aloof in order to protect myself from people who have done me harm. I may be shy when we first meet because I'm not sure if you're one of the people I can trust. But with a little patience, it won't be long before I give you all my love. When I'm ready to form that bond, I'll lean right into your hand for pets. In my foster home, I am extremely calm and love to follow my foster mom and her dog around. I am housetrained and can be left uncrated for up to 8 hours a day while my foster works! I have my own little room and I keep it clean and tidy all day long. I appreciate the calmer things in life, and my favorite activity is sunbathing in the backyard so I can watch the world go by.
