Soft, oh so cuddly, a little shy and sweet as pie, six month old Luca is 45 pounds of pure irresistible Lab love. His foster mom has only the highest compliments for this youngster:
“Luca is scrumptious, extremely cute, soft and cuddly. He has amazing light goldish dreamy eyes. His favorite things are being close to me, playing or snuggling, and playing with his foster big brother, Luke, and little foster sister, Rosie. He plays well with other dogs big and small. He plays fetch and drops beautifully!
“When he first came to me, so much was new. He’s becoming braver with new things and people. He’s learning about leash walks, coming when called, sitting for treats and about up to speed on his housetraining. I think someone may not have been kind to him in the past. It’s important his forever family is kind, loving and patient and willing to help his confidence keep growing with training and lots of praise.
“Luca is great in the house - very calm and stays close to you, but does investigate things. He loves to chew his toys and thinks shoes are his also - I'm working on that! He’s a little puppy rascal and can’t resist stealing socks from the laundry. He’ll play chase the ball in the house, and somehow knows not to be too rowdy. Oh, and he doesn’t like to sleep alone!”
Amazingly, this wonderful puppy was found wandering stray and left abandoned in a shelter. We’re delighted his travels finally brought him to his “safe harbor” with us. Like us, he’s eager to find a forever home where he’ll be treasured and never far from your side!
