Sweet Lottie has a sad but familiar story. She was rescued at age 5 or 6 by an older couple, who took her in and loved her. Now, her dad is infirm, and her mom just went into the hospital. Mom has been told that when she gets out of the hospital, she will be unable to walk her. Lottie's parents live in a Senior Living Facility. If she does not find an adopter they will have to take her to the SPCA.
The good news is that she is not in a shelter and so is healthy (no kennel cough!) and has not had that awful traumatic shelter experience yet, and you can prevent her from having it!
Lottie is 9 years old. Her Dog sitter has had her for 3 weeks while Lottie's mom was hospitalized. She says Lottie is extremely sweet; quiet but a good guard dog when needed; loves attention. very affectionate. Thrives on attention. Good with other dogs. Shepherd hound mix.
She knows plenty of commands, is obedient and loves to please. If you tell her you don't want her to do something she stops.
Lottie will enjoy someone who works from home or is retired or who can take her to work. She is ready to love you, get you out on walks; play and nap with your kids; go on hikes or camping. Please help this girl to recover from losing her beloved mom and dad. She'll love you forever in return!
