Hello darlings, I’m Lovie! I was horribly heartbroken to find myself abandoned at the shelter with my sister, Faith, when my family moved and left us behind. Worse yet, my sister was euthanized and I was scheduled for the same fate! My foster Mom said my sad eyes nearly broke her heart when we first met but she knew that taking me home would have me beaming in no time. She was right ~ just look at my photos ~ I smile ALL the time now!!! She claims I’m nothing but solid love through and through… I wonder if she realizes that I relish being with nice people and dogs, and I especially looooooove the children that visit! I am sooooooo very grateful to have this opportunity to experience how wonderful life can be! I’m a very calm, quiet, extremely gentle Lady who has spent her entire life in and indoor home. I’m easy going indoors (and out) and always display impeccable manners, lounging quietly at your feet to be the perfect companion. I enjoy long walks, evening strolls down quiet streets, gentle play with other dogs and children, touring in an automobile, and engaging in just about anything that makes you happy so that we can spend family time together! I am also crate trained, though I certainly don’t require one, sit on cue without being asked and walk very politely on lead as a true lady should. I long to find that special person(s) who will appreciate my lovely personality and the life time of devotion I will gladly give them in return!
