ADOPTED! - Matthew is such a sweet, quiet, gentle fellow. Somehow he ended up as a stray at the pound, but his owner never came to claim him. We saw what a special little guy he was, and we requested a reprieve (on his scheduled euthanasia) while we made arrangements to bring him into our rescue program. Matthew is about 5 years old and he acts as though his previous owner was mean to him. Still, he's a loving guy who appreciates petting, he's good with other dogs and cats, and he absolutely LOVES playing with kids! (He thinks he's still a kid himself.) Matthew doesn't want to be a latchkey dog, so an owner who is retired, works part time, or works out of his/her home would be ideal. Matthew has been neutered, wormed, heartworm tested, microchipped, and immunized. He even recently had his teeth cleaned, so now he's all set to give his new owner a big sparkling smile! Matthew's adoption fee is $225. If you are interested in possibly adopting him, please e-mail Matthew's foster mom Pam at:
[email protected] and tell her a little about yourself and your situation. Then, if we feel you would be a good fit for Matthew (and if we think that Matthew would be a good fit for you) we will e-mail you an adoption application.
Please click on "One Starfish Rehoming Connections" under the photo to read more about our rescue's adoption policies and fees. We do not operate a humane society or shelter, so we do not have a facility that is open to the public. Our dogs are fostered by volunteers in private homes, and are not available for viewing until an adoption application is filled out and references are checked. Please read the information on our home page (by clicking on our rescue name above this dog's photo) before contacting us.
