Lotus was pulled from Animal Welfare under medical assumptions of an injury to her back/hips. Well, her medical diagnosis? Bow legged in her hind legs. Lack of proper nutrition and diet is suspected to be the cause of how Lotus held herself and her movement. Since she has been with us, Lotus is filling out, getting stronger, and her movement is much improved.
Update: Since Lotus unfortunately hasn't found her furever home we have learned a lot about her. We've learned she enjoys the company of some of our dogs while having yard time. She loves to play with other dogs and behaved very well at the adoption events she has attended. She's an absolute doll and her personality has really come out. If interested, come in for a meet&greet to see her in person and apply @ EnidSPCA.org
