My Story

ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13705 Meet Lottie: This sweet peach has come all the way from Georgia in hopes of finding her forever home! Name: Lottie Age: Est. 8 months old Breed: Mixed Breed....mixed with the best qualities! Origin: Clarkesville, GA Weight: About 25 lbs Read on to hear more about me! - My foster mom thinks I'm really smart and will excel at obedience training, though I can be a little headstrong at times. - I love meeting new people and I'm very friendly. I am also very enthusiastic about playing. If you have any toys, we will get along famously! - I'm still young and learning how to be the best dog, so with some patience and training, I'll be the best friend you could ask for. - I'm hoping to find a forever home, where I can grow and learn. One with a yard or dog park nearby that I can run around in would be ideal! - I am still working on crate training and potty training, but getting better each day. However, I walk pretty well on a leash if I might say so myself. If you have room in your heart and home for a high spirited, affectionate puppy, I am the perfect match for you! Hit that apply button to take me home today! To adopt fill out the simple online application at https://ophrescue.org Operation Paws for Homes, Inc. (OPH) rescues dogs and cats of all breeds and ages from high-kill shelters in NC, VA, MD, and SC, reducing the numbers being euthanized. With limited resources, the shelters are forced to put down 50-90% of the animals that come in the front door. OPH provides pet adoption services to families located in VA, DC, MD, PA and neighboring states. OPH is a 501(c)(3) organization and is 100% donor funded. OPH does not operate a shelter or have a physical location. We rely on foster families who open their homes to give love and attention to each pet before finding a forever home. All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
