Lorelie T

Lorelie T is a beautifully proportioned, classic looking female "pocket" German Shepherd. Lorelie is gentle and affectionate, and loves going on walks. Her mobility is typical for a senior dog, having no problems with short walks and easily navigating 3-4 steps. Lorelie is good with some dogs, but she can be selective about who she opens up to and plays with. She would do best as an only dog in a home without young kids. Thulani does not charge an adoption fee and provides medical coverage for life. All Thulani dogs go to their forever homes with a supply of food, a cushy bed, and toys if wanted. All dogs pass a set of evaluation tests before being accepted into TSGSR. The tests are not intended to assess how smart the dog is but are important for TSGSR to determine if the dog is expected to be safe in a family home. The tested behaviors check to see if the dog will guard or protect food or toys from people, will tolerate handling all over its body (including ears, nose, lips to check teeth, lifting paws, belly, back, and gently pulling the tail). This dog remained calm during all of these tests and showed no aggressive tendencies.
