Loraine the perfect lil' pup! Hello friend! I'm Loraine, but my today-family calls me Boo, or Boo-berry! I'm the cutest, gentlest, tiniest little female, house-trained, 12 lb, 3 y/o, Wire-hair Terrier you'll ever meet. I had a rough time before meeting my today-family, so I started out pretty frightened of anything that moved or made noises. I didn't even like the silver bowl my food was in, so I had to be convinced to eat anything out of the gentle hands of my foster mom. After a couple weeks here, I'm feeling like a new pup! I'm coming out of my shell and starting to play with my medium sized foster brother pup. He makes me want to smile, and prance, and run, and sometimes even steal his tennis ball to get his attention. But I still don't like really sudden movements or loud noises, so I'll go to my crate or some other small space when something spooks me. Once I warm up to you, I'll never want to leave your side. I'll come to you when you whistle. I prefer the ladies, but can be ok with the guys and older children if they are gentle and patient with me. I have no desire to run away once I'm attached, so once you're my family, I'm sticking with you. I don't love the leash, because it scares me, but occasionally, I might decide to walk a little bit if you speak to me in a very gentle, sweet voice. Though I'm house trained, I don't know yet how to tell you my needs, so you'll have to ask me if it's time, and then I'll wag my tail and run to the door to say yes. I am a completely silent girl, so far. I don't really have much to say, but you can see everything in my beautiful eyes. I am completely crate trained, and will quietly wait for you to come get me in the morning to go outside to do my business and stretch my legs. I'm ok in the crate during the work day, as well. I'm really smart, and I like treats, so I can probably be taught all the things I should know. I love neck scratches, and booty scratches, and the feeling of running and playing in the grass without a tether. It's just so liberating and exhilarating!
