Isn’t she cute? She has a personality to match! Lollipop was a stray sitting outside a business in South Dakota on a 110 degree day, all matted, dehydrated and hungry, with a nasty wound on her ear from fly bites. She was cleaned up and fed and watered and now she’s good to go. We think she is about a year old and a mixed between Chow and Schnauzer. She weighs about 31#.
Lollipop is just the happiest little girl. She just loves life and it’s hard not to smile when you look at her. She loves stuffed toys to play with, stealing them as she runs out the door. We’re not sure what she’ll look like when her hair grows out.
We do not know if Lollipop is housetrained, but she can hold it for 12 hours, so she shouldn’t be too hard to train. She does fine in a crate. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She hasn’t been around children yet, but it’s hard to imagine her not liking them, too. She is doing good in her obedience class. She knows SIT and goes DOWN nicely and she COMEs well, too. You just have to have patience, because she has a short attention span. Because she is a terrier, she tends to bark at anything and everything. We are working with her to stop that excessive behavior, and she responds well.
Lollipop is one-of-a-king. Who’s going to be the lucky one to take her home?
