If you adopt me, at the beginning it may not be easy but in the end, it will be so worth it. From being part of a homeless litter with little chance at a decent life to the prospect of a new home -- that is my dream come true. I spent my first months with my Mom and four littermates in Tunisia just waiting for a chance at safety and an actual home with humans who cared. After a long trip from my country, here I am and ready for someone to take on the job of teaching me what being a family dog is all about. Of course, I will display fear in novel situations – and there may be many of those. Thunder, vacuum cleaners, lawn mowers, and even sudden movements may cause me to run for cover. But I know in a stable family environment, I can overcome many of my fears. I must be able to depend on my human family; your heart might be in the right place but you must be determined to make this journey with me. No doubt I am worried and anxious and will need time to adjust; another well-balanced, calm dog would help me immensely. I know that inside me there is a happy pup just waiting to gain confidence and become part of a family.
