Thank you for visiting Lola! By choosing to adopt a dog through C.A.R.E.S., you are not only giving a wonderful dog a forever home, but you are allowing us to rescue another dog on death row. You are also choosing to support a true no-kill rescue organization. Thank you!.
Look at that face! Lola was a stray in South Dakota, rescued by a local rescue, then sent up here so she would find a good home. She is about 2 to 3 years old, has had puppies, weighs about 43# and is a purebred Basset Hound.
Lola is a typical Basset. Very happy, pretty laid-back, and loves attention. Lola loves car rides!
She gets along with other dogs and cats and children. We were told she is not entirely house trained, but close. She is crate trained. As with all hounds, a fenced-in yard is a requirement.
If you’re looking for a Basset, you must meet Lola! She’ll win your heart! For specifc questions about Lola, please call her foster mom, Lynn, at 651-784-3079.
This dog's adoption fee is $300 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application. If you'd like to have an application emailed to you, just email us. Thank you!
