My Story

Come meet me during our events Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM - 4 PM at the Homeward Trails Manny Law Adoption Center, 11116 Fairfax Station Rd, Fairfax Station, VA. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our dog adoption questionnaire and e-mail any questions to: [email protected] PLEASE VISIT THIS WEBSITE TO FIND THE ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE: http://www.homewardtrails.org/adopt-a-pet/adoption-forms/ LOCATION: Adoption Center ADOPTION COORDINATOR: Adoption Center ADOPTION FEE: $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. **Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training and other discounts! ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 80 lbs KNOWN WITH DOGS: Loki seems to be doing well with the other dogs at the Adoption Center. He is docile and appreciates the company of other dogs. KNOWN WITH CATS: Loki's home shelter indicated that he does well with cats. KNOWN WITH KIDS: According to his former shelter, Loki was very appropriate with small children. KNOWN COMMANDS: We have yet to determine if Loki knows any commands yet. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Loki seems to settle in nicely to his crate. He is not a big barker even when other dogs around him are making lots of noise. He does have some hesitance when it comes to going into his crate. KNOWN LIKES: Loki seems to enjoy the company of other dogs and getting attention from people. He has also enjoyed training and getting to play with toys. KNOWN DISLIKES: He was a little resistant being put back in his travel crate when he got to the Adoption Center. He also seemed to not enjoy the presence of goats. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Loki is a big boy who came to us from one of our rural shelter partners. His senses are impaired as he has a shrunken eye, may be partially blind in the other eye and may also be partially deaf. He does not let that slow him down though and you will find he makes a great companion regardless!
